RumenShield : Dairy

RumenShield Diary is a novel non-medicated feed additive (NFMA) for dairy cows in development by the consortium partners. It acts in the cows rumen, promoting greater feed conversion and increased energy status. The impact of RumenShield Dairy can be measured through increase in milk production, increase in milk protein and a reduction in somatic cell counts.

In 2020 with the support of Horizon 2020 EU Research & Innovation program, we will begin large scale clinical trials both in the EU and the US.
